The Merida Scultura 4000 Road Bike is a carbon frame bike built to go all day in gruelling races and tough training. The CF2 carbon frame is built to minimise weight and maximise power transfer, stiffness and durability. This equipped groupset offers precise shifting with brilliant control for smooth, silent and crisp performance on the road. Scultura CF2 Frame: CF2 frame with more relaxed geometry than the CF4. Truncated ‘NACA Fastback’ profiled down tube and seat tube for aerodynamics. Tapered 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" head tube for confidence inspiring handling. Caliper version runs quick release hubs.
Precise Steering: All REACTO models feature a full carbon fork with a tapered steerer to give precise, confidence inspiring handling. Aluminium and CF2 carbon models feature a ‘regular’ 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" taper. The high end CF4 frame has a slimmed down front profile and uses a 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" taper.
Aero Profiled tubing: Our wind tunnel learnings from the REACTO design project have been used to create a smaller aerodynamically optimised ‘NACA Fastback’ tube profile. The more extreme truncation of the teardrop shaped tubes enables perfect airflow at the lowest possible weight.
